HB Tech Announces Partnership With The Cyber Resilience Centre

HB Tech, a commercial IT service provider based in Hampshire, has announced its partnership with the Cyber Resilience Centre. This is a police-led partnership aimed at improving cyber resilience in businesses in the South East of England.

United Kingdom - July 25, 2023

Providing IT support and IT services to businesses all across Hampshire and Dorset, HB Tech has announced its partnership with the Cyber Resilience Center for the South East (SECRC). As part of this partnership, HB Tech is helping the SECRC by providing its services and expertise to provide knowledge and support that can help small and medium-sized businesses protect themselves against the threat of cybercrime.

Backed by the National Police Chiefs Council, the Cyber Resilience Centre for the South East is a police-led partnership running a network of not-for-profit centres that can offer advice and information to business owners. These centres are set up by the Home Office, and HB Tech is playing its role by providing businesses with expert advice, and cyber security solutions, such as their Cyber Essentials scheme, which includes a range of protections and checks to ensure the cyber security readiness of SMEs.

Discussing the new partnership, Andy Richardson, Director of The South East Cyber Resilience Centre said: “It’s fantastic to be working with another local organisation to help strengthen the resilience of businesses across the region, particularly SMEs so it’s brilliant that HB Tech dedicate themselves towards SMEs”

John Clough, Director of HB Tech said: “HB Tech is delighted to be partnering with the South East Resilience Centre. We look forward to working together in providing organisations with the Cyber Security knowledge and solutions needed to safeguard themselves against cyber-crime”

The CRCSE is working with local universities and the police forces in the areas of Thames Valley, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, West Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, and the Isle of Wight, staying on top of the latest emerging cyber threats and criminal trends to help businesses stay protected.

HB Tech was founded in 2015 and has since provided IT support to over a hundred businesses and charities across Hampshire and Dorset. With a strong dedication to ensuring the security of their clients, they are poised to bring the same focus to those who seek their services through this new partnership with the CRCSE.
