Ontario Medical Aesthetic Academy: Skin Pigmentation Treatment Training Update

The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (647-247-2481), a specialist school for aestheticians, has updated its training programs to provide complete certification in laser pigmentation, hair removal, and tattoo removal, with new hybrid online and offline courses that let students work at their own pace.

Laval, Canada - July 13, 2023

The updated laser treatment certification options from The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy include three types of treatments in the Basic course, as well as certification in up to a dozen other popular procedures, with more complex techniques available through the Advanced and Masters course.

Though lasers have been used in several common beauty treatments for decades, until recently, these procedures were mostly performed by dermatologists and plastic surgeons. These new courses from the Dermysk Academy allow anyone to become certified with laser treatments and other popular aesthetic techniques, without any qualifications or previous experience.

In these new courses, students will learn through a combination of online modules which can be completed at any time, at the student’s own pace, from anywhere with an internet connection, and hands-on training at the nearest Dermysk Academy location. While the online modules have no time restrictions, the practical training portion takes approximately one week and can take place at any of the four locations across Canada.

After completing the hands-on training portion of the class, students will be fully certified and experienced in up to a dozen popular medical aesthetic techniques, which may include laser hair and tattoo removal, laser pigmentation treatments, fractional ablation, radiofrequency rejuvenation, and micro-blading. Graduation from the Basic program will also allow students to access Advanced training, which includes more complex procedures like laser gynecology and Cool Sculpting.

Each course also includes material about proper hygiene and safety in a MedSpa environment, the health and safety considerations of these techniques, and proven business strategies specific to aesthetician clinics. Once the course is complete, graduates will be certified to begin a new career in a local MedSpa, or to open their own.
