Designers such as Jason Wu and Tracey Reese were attendance as well as Nina Garcia, editor in chief of Elle magazine.

The brand, which was founded by Army Captain Veteran, Raquel Riley Thomas, in 2020, was a finalist alongside 6 other beauty brands. Raquel Riley Thomas attended the event in an Ade by Femi velvet ensemble. She wore a Versace Medusa buckle belt and matching Versace platform boots. She topped it off with a chain linked clutch by Christian Dior. Raquel was styled by Natasha Edwards, a Personal stylist & Image Consultant out of Atlanta, Ga.
Raquel wore her hair long and straight with the color being of a mixture of brown and golden tones. This was a change from her normal dark tresses we have seen in the past.
"I decided to lighten her hair to give a different appeal than her norm of dark hair. Plus, with summer approaching we wanted to have a little fun with her hair color," states Breana Phillips, owner of Hair by Bre.
