Children's Hunger Fund Awarded the Coveted 4-Star Rating Four Consecutive Years

By: PRLog

LOS ANGELES - June 2, 2021 - PRLog -- Children's Hunger Fund has earned a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator for four consecutive years. This is the highest possible rating that a non-profit can earn to distinguish itself as an organization that adheres to best practices and executes its mission in a financially efficient way. Only 21% of charities have received four consecutive 4-star evaluations.

This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets Children's Hunger Fund apart from its peers, and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness. Children's Hunger Fund has a strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency. The 4-Star rating can reassure donors that when they donate to Children's Hunger Fund, their donation is being utilized towards the intended use. Approximately only a quarter of rated charities have achieved this distinction!

"Children's Hunger Fund is honored to receive this 4-Star Rating. We strive to be transparent with our donors and ministry partners in everything that we do,"
Michael Richards, senior vice president.

About Children's Hunger Fund
Founded by Dave Phillips in 1991, Children's Hunger Fund (CHF) has served the needs of children through gospel-centered mercy ministry for more than 30 years. Since 1991, 96% of all donations have directly supported programs that serve suffering children and families. CHF has distribution centers in San Antonio, Dallas, and at its headquarters in Los Angeles. At each center, bulk food is packed by volunteers into Food Paks, a box of nutritious food that provide meals for a family facing food insecurity. Food Paks are distributed to millions of children and families in need throughout the U.S. and worldwide through a unique process, utilizing a Mercy Network of pastors and local churches who deliver Food Paks into the homes of families in each region that is served.
