Criminal defense attorneys, Yampolsky & Margolis Attorneys at Law, are pleased to announce the hiring of their newest employee, Antonio Mendoza. Antonio was born in Mexico and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Being a Latino immigrant with DACA has not stopped him from achieving all his goals in life. He is ready to start his journey in his new position and take on all his responsibilities.
Antonio graduated from Desert Pines High School in 2012. Ever since then, Antonio has been advocated for the Latino community by being a volunteer for “La Casa Del Inmigrante.” Where he found his passion for Immigration and helping individuals like himself with their DACA applications. He also learned about the responsibility and importance of time management how to treat each case differently. He kept himself update with changes in the immigration system.
In his most recent employment prior to our firm, Antonio took on a job with a local lawyer, Mr. Dumbrigue. There he learned how to painstakingly proofread pleadings–every comma and every period matter in a legal document. Antonio performed various legal tasks under his direction, and most of his learning there was “hands-on”. He helped expand services to the Latino community by actively serving clients as a Spanish interpreter. He assisted clients with traffic tickets and learn motion to quash warrants.
Antonio has learned his biggest passions in life are laws, giving a voice to those who don’t have one, helping individuals in their time of need, music, traveling, and insurance. Antonio has a small business himself of life insurance, where he aids and motivates individuals to be prepared for unfortunate events in life. It became one of his passions after seeing that a lot of the people in the Latino community needed assistance with finding a policy that would feed their needs.
Antonio is extremely excited to bring his skills, knowledge, and talents to Yampolsky and Margolis and hopes to positively impact the Latino community through his position.
