EMSL is proud to announce our Denver lad has been providing fast asbestos results by PCM, PLM and TEM analysis. Asbestos is the name of a group of highly fibrous minerals with separable, long, and thin fibers. Asbestos fibers are strong and flexible enough to be spun and woven. Asbestos fibers are heat and chemical resistant, making them useful for many industrial purposes.
“Asbestos can be positively identified only by a trained analyst using specialized microscopes,” Senior Vice President of Marketing Joseph Frasca said. “With the PCM, PLM, and TEM testing services in our Denver laboratory allows EMSL to further assist local communities in identifying potential asbestos hazards. In addition, EMSL's Denver lab specialized in the analysis of soot, char & ash for fire damage investigations.”
EMSL Analytical, Inc. has trained and experienced staff along with the necessary equipment and instrumentation to provide quality asbestos analysis of air, water, bulk, soil and/or dust samples as well as soot, char and ash identification. We offer various methodologies (NIOSH, EPA, OSHA, ASTM, etc.) utilizing the following:
