Luton Town will be hoping to pull off one of their biggest game this year as they welcome Manchester City to Kenilworth Road in the FA Cup playoffs on Tuesday night. Luton Town suffered a devastating loss of 4 – 1 against Liverpool on Wednesday, while Manchester City secured a 1 – 0 victory against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Luton Town has gained plenty of fans this season due to their good performance and ability to win big clubs when necessary — especially when they are playing at home. They will be facing Machester City in the FA Cup playoffs after suffering three consecutive losses to Sheffield United, Manchester United, and Liverpool in the Premier League.

Luton Town is currently in the relegation zone at the 18th position with just 20 points in the last 25 games in the Premier League campaign. Man City is currently in form since the new year and has remained unbeaten in the last 19 games which has made them a strong contender in all competitions.

The last time both teams met in the FA Cup was in January 1969, when Man City recorded a dramatic 1-0 victory at Maine Road to enter the quarter-finals.

 

Team news

Luton will have to play without Tom Lockyer, Marvelous Nakamba, Jacob Brown, and Mads Andersen due to injuries — while it’s still uncertain whether Adebayo, Alfie Doughty, and Albert Sambi Lokonga will be in the starting XI against Man City.

As for Man City, they will have to play without Josko Gvardiol who’s currently injured.
