Catering Services and Future Plans
While Get Carried Away will continue to cater longstanding local events such as the Georgetown Fishing Tournament, Cotillion, and Winyah Indigo Men’s Dinner, the team has decided not to book any new offsite events for catering. This strategic decision allows the team to concentrate on delivering exceptional service at the new Georgetown store.
However, customers who have already booked events with Get Carried Away’s catering team between now and June 2025 can rest assured that their events will be handled with the same excellence that has become the hallmark of the company.
What to Expect at the Georgetown Store
The Georgetown location will feature Get Carried Away’s signature offerings, including homemade casseroles, chicken salad, chicken perlo, shrimp salad, tomato pies, and famous dips, appetizers, and desserts. In addition, the store will offer party trays for those hosting events, featuring crowd-pleasers like tomato pie bites, crab cakes, and mini country ham biscuits—favorites that the catering team has perfected over the years.
