The Silvercrest is aptly named, as this contemporary ranch-style home is bathed in silvery natural light through its lavish banks of multi-paned windows. Outside, sunbeams dance across the glass panes, creating a captivating light display. Choosing a wide lot with a scenic vista to the rear would maximize the viewing opportunities, making the most of this home’s design.
The vaulted hexagonal great room is the highlight of the interior illumination. With two banks of glass filling most of the three rear walls, the room is awash with natural light. The center section features twin sets of French doors that open onto a wide deck, which wraps across the entire back of the house. The walls on either side have lower window sections at door height, underscored by stone veneer wainscoting. Wide transom windows crown all the rear windows and doors, enhancing the sense of openness and light.
Upon entering through the arched entryway, you cross a transverse hallway where you can pause to appreciate family treasures displayed in an art niche before stepping into the great room.
