The four-time bracelet winner features prominently as ESPN begins its 2026 coverage.

-- Americas Cardroom Pro Alex Foxen received extensive exposure in the opening episodes of ESPN’s 2026 World Series of Poker Main Event coverage, giving the online poker brand a visible role in one of the game’s largest televised events.

The first two episodes aired July 21 on ESPN2 and covered the WSOP Main Event opening flights and Day 2.

Foxen appeared regularly as he built his stack and navigated difficult decisions, with his Americas Cardroom Pro patch clearly visible. In one key hand, his measured approach and attention to detail helped him read Vinh Nguyen’s table talk and make the correct all-in call to win a substantial pot.

Foxen became an Americas Cardroom Pro in May, joining Chance Kornuth and Chris Hunichen on the roster.

His ESPN appearance followed another major result during the summer. Foxen won the $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold’em event, earning $594,246 and securing the fourth WSOP bracelet of his career.

Americas Cardroom also appeared in ESPN’s opening Main Event episodes through fellow Team Pro Chris Moneymaker.

Moneymaker’s path from a low-buy-in online satellite to the 2003 WSOP Main Event championship became one of the defining stories in poker history, helping bring online poker and tournament poker to a mainstream audience. Alongside Foxen’s standing among today’s leading tournament players, it gave Americas Cardroom a presence across two generations of the game.

ESPN’s multi-year WSOP agreement includes more than 100 hours of programming, including additional Main Event episodes and live final-table coverage August 3-5.

The Americas Cardroom blog has full details on Foxen and Moneymaker’s appearances in ESPN’s opening WSOP Main Event broadcasts.
