NatPat has announced StuffyPatch, a non-medicated wearable aromatherapy sticker designed to provide aromatic comfort for children with congested noses, offering families with young children an additional option alongside at-home care.
-- NatPat, the Australian wellness company specializing in natural wearable stickers, has announced StuffyPatch, a drug-free decongestant option for parents seeking comfort for children with stuffy noses as cold and flu season arrives. Applied to clothing rather than directly to the skin, the sticker releases child-safe vapors from a blend of eucalyptus, essential oils and menthol.

With the colder months approaching, the need for practical ways to manage childhood cold symptoms is familiar to many families. The American Academy of Pediatrics reports that children can experience around eight to 10 colds per year during their first two years of life. Nasal congestion is perhaps the most common cold symptom and can interfere with sleep, feeding and daily routines, prompting parents to look for age-appropriate ways to ease discomfort.
The new StuffyPatch from NatPat is designed to be placed on clothing near the head, such as on a collar or upper chest, where its aromatic blend can be released for up to eight hours. The wearable format avoids applying oils or creams directly to a child's skin and does not require ingestion. Furthermore, its compact design also makes it portable for everyday routines, including bedtime and travel.
"Standard home care for a stuffy nose can include saline drops or spray to loosen mucus, fluids and rest, and a clean cool-mist humidifier when indoor air is dry," explains a spokesperson for NatPat. "Aromatherapy stickers offer a different approach for families interested in scented, non-medicated products, but they should be considered a comfort measure rather than a treatment for the cause of congestion."
Parents are advised to follow product instructions and consult a healthcare professional when unsure what is suitable for a child. As with any scented product, caregivers should discontinue use if irritation or sensitivity occurs.
StuffyPatch is part of NatPat's broader range of wearable stickers for everyday family needs. Founded in Melbourne in 2020, the company developed its original BuzzPatch after co-founder Michael Jankie's children experienced repeated mosquito bites. NatPat now serves more than one million families across 32 countries, with products available through more than 10,000 retail stores and online.
