THFGI Announces Pivotal Staff Role Updates for Key Positions

The Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis announces key staff role updates, promoting Ebony Barney, Ryan McConnell and James Budden to pivotal positions designed to empower the foundation champion innovative health solutions for Indy's vulnerable populations.

Indianapolis, IN (03-01-2024) — The Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis, Inc. (THFGI)-Indiana's leading advocate for the health and well-being of its most vulnerable citizens-is pleased to announce significant updates to its team structure, reflecting their ongoing commitment to responsive, innovative, and collaborative health solutions, especially within the HIV/AIDS community.

Staff Role Updates

Formerly serving as Program Manager and AmeriCorps Program Director, Ebony Barney is now the Vice President of National Service and AmeriCorps Program Director. Ebony brings her exemplary record of leadership and deep understanding of the intricacies of community health initiatives in her new capacity as VP of National Service. She aims to further amplify THFGI’s expanding commitment to national service and the AmeriCorps program, championing initiatives that advocate for the health and well-being of the most vulnerable.

Ryan McConnell now serves as the Program Director, previously the Program Manager. Ryan's dedication to the organization’s mission and his innovative approach to program management have been instrumental in the THFGI’s successes. Ryan will continue to lead with a strategic vision in his new role, enhancing the foundation's impact on vulnerable populations in Indiana.

James Budden now serves as the Program Manager and Director of Compliance, previously the Program Manager & Compliance Coordinator. This change reflects James's significant contributions to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and his role in safeguarding the foundation's integrity and accountability.

These updates are more than title changes; they are a reflection of THFGI’s continued commitment to community and dedication to helping the most vulnerable and underserved.
