Founded by Kent Holt as a three-bay repair shop serving what was then a quiet farming town, Performance Place has grown into a 20-bay, 10,000 square-foot facility that now serves generations of families and fleet customers across the South Valley region. Today, the shop remains family-owned and operated by Kent’s children—Tracy, Byran, and Patrece. Over the past five decades, Performance Place has continued to build on its foundation of honesty, transparency, and high-quality automotive service. The 51st anniversary is a meaningful milestone that highlights the shop’s ongoing commitment to customer care, skilled workmanship, and community connection.

The back shop renovation is officially complete, and remodeling efforts are now focused on the rest of the building and the parking lot.
