Kailash Concepts Research Launches its 2022/2023 Scholarship Program

By: Get News

Students passionate about equity research and investing are welcome to join the: KCR - Equity Research Scholarship Program.

Kailash Concepts Research (KCR) announces its Scholarship Program for the 2022/2023 period.  Students passionate about equity research and investing can apply for the new scholarship program by using the link above.

Scholarships are available to accredited colleges and/or universities in the United States of America.  KCR will be paying out scholarships on up to 3 awards to help pay for education expenses i.e. tuition, accommodation, and travel costs.  These prizes include Gold Medalist Winners (who can receive $5,000), Silver Medalist Winners (who will receive $1,000), and Bronze Medalist Winners (who will receive $500).*  Winners may also be listed on Kailash Concepts Research’ Scholarship website page, if they so choose, to share their contact information and socials.

Many students who want to pursue a career that requires several years of schooling look for financial aid. Scholarships can emerge as one of the most requested types of financial assistance in such a situation.  Unlike loans, scholarships are not repaid.  Merit-based scholarships are, in their view, one of the most helpful things they can provide.  The KCR Scholarship program is designed to create valuable industry connections and increase successful students’ social profiles all while helping pay school related expenses.

KCR wants to encourage students to take part in learning more about "equity research" and "investing" through their Scholarship Program.  Leading them to write a stock pitch explaining why they believe a stock is either too cheap and may appreciate or too expensive and may decline in price.  That simple explanation is the basic essence of fundamental researchers and KCR’s goal is to encourage awareness, create lasting bonds with students and help them practice a valuable career skill set.

Through this new scholarship program, KCR wants to turn student passion into action and get them working on issues they believe in.

“KCR is dedicated to investing in younger people, and we consider that everybody can attain their full potential.  Our goal is to help support students with peripheral and direct interests in financial analysis.  While currently out of fashion, we believe active management and stock-selection are due to make a comeback.  Our data suggests the ubiquitous ascendancy of index funds has left pricing errors at the stock level wider than any time in the last 30+ years, in our view" said Matt Malgari, Co-founder of Kailash Capital.  "We hope our new scholarship will encourage students to engage in the field of equity research, active investing and that our funding will provide students the incentive to give equity analysis a shot."

Applicants must write a stock pitch explaining why they believe a stock is too cheap and likely to appreciate or too expensive and likely to fall.  The team at KCR are open-minded individuals and believe a compelling thesis can run 50 dense pages or be accomplished in a brief and succinct 2-3 pages.

KCR will gladly review any submissions!  Those who would like to use KCR's Small & Midcap or Large Cap ranking tools as a “jumping off” point can make their request through email (scholarship@kailashconcepts.com). KCR said they will happily create user accounts on their website for such students.

While only some applicants can win, KCR will happily publish the research, as well as the name of any winning applicants’ work on their website should they want the recognition.
