New executive hires across product, engineering, and finance to drive innovation and operational scale
Nuvem, a leading tech-enabled pharmacy service for community health providers, today announced the addition of three senior leaders across product, engineering, and finance. The move deepens Nuvem’s operational strength as it scales in response to increasing customer demands for pharmacy management services —combining expert guidance, advanced analytics, and software to help community health centers improve pharmacy performance and financial resilience.
“Pharmacy matters now, more than ever,” said Scott Seidelmann, CEO of Nuvem. “With these new leaders in place, we’re doubling down on our commitment to deliver a seamless, mission-aligned experience for every customer. We’re investing in building out the operational strength needed to scale smarter, move faster, and support community health providers in navigating complexity with confidence.”
Meet the New Leaders
Community health providers have long navigated shifting 340B policies, payer pressures, and manufacturer restrictions—all while striving to serve vulnerable populations. In response, Nuvem has expanded beyond its respected 340B referral and compliance services to offer a broader set of capabilities, including in-house pharmacy management, advanced analytics (with the acquisition of Louvir this year), and operational support. This expanded vision calls for deeper product, platform, and financial infrastructure—one now supported by a restructured leadership team.
Seidelmann added: “As new leaders take the helm, Nuvem will continue to make substantial investments in technology to support customers’ complex operations, automate their patient and provider workflows, and deepen their analytics to bring visibility and insight to every decision.”
New team members include:
- Jim Garretson, Chief Product Officer (CPO)
Jim brings over 15 years of product leadership at the intersection of healthcare, SaaS, and service design. Most recently, VP of Product Management and Head of Design at Omnicell, he led the creation of a unified cloud platform and launched Omnicell One, a tech-enabled service that combined machine learning with clinical expertise to optimize pharmacy performance. Prior roles at athenahealth and Candescent Health focused on improving clinical workflows and outcomes. At Nuvem, Jim leads product strategy and design—building tools and experiences that help health centers evolve faster and serve better.
- Michael Korthius, Chief Technology Officer
Michael brings over two decades of experience building scalable technology for healthcare and mission-driven organizations. As VP of Engineering at Omnicell, he oversaw platform development for cloud-based pharmacy services. His earlier roles at Curation Health, Candescent Health, and Bridge International Academies reflect a career focused on building systems that blend software, data, and service delivery. As CTO, he ensures Nuvem’s solution portfolio supports covered entities through cutting-edge technology and innovation.
- Garret Albert, Chief Financial Officer
Garret brings more than 15 years of financial leadership across healthcare and SaaS. He most recently served as CFO at Mynd, where he helped raise over $160M in capital and led the company through its acquisition by Roofstock, where he continued as interim CFO post-merger. At One Medical, Garret led strategic finance through a $220M private equity investment and IPO. At Nuvem, he oversees financial strategy and operations, ensuring the organization grows sustainably while staying focused on long-term customer value.
