Experian Earns NASWA’s Outstanding Performance Award for Second Consecutive Year

Industry recognition highlights Experian’s ongoing commitment to help employers reduce fraud and maintain unemployment insurance integrity

Experian® has been honored with the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) Outstanding Performance Award for the second year in a row. The recognition underscores Experian’s dedication to reducing fraud and promoting unemployment insurance (UI) integrity through its effective use of the State Information Data Exchange System (SIDES). The award was presented during NASWA’s annual SIDES Seminar in Salt Lake City.

“We are dedicated to providing employers with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of unemployment insurance, reduce fraud and ensure compliance,” said Steve Solovic, Senior Vice President of Operations for Experian Employer Services. “Receiving this award for the second consecutive year is a testament to our commitment to innovation and empowering state agencies to improve their processes and make quick, informed decisions about unemployment eligibility.”

SIDES is a web-based system and crucial component of Experian’s seamless unemployment management solution, which helps employers mitigate the risk, cost, and burden of handling unemployment claims.

“We are proud to announce that Experian Employer Services has received the ‘Outstanding Performance Award’ as a third-party administrator for the second consecutive year,” said NASWA President and CEO Scott B. Sanders. “This award is a testament to upholding the highest standards of integrity within the UI system. Experian plays a crucial role in protecting taxpayer dollars and ensuring support reaches those who need it most.”

Each year, hundreds of state workforce members, employers and third-party administrators gather at the UI SIDES Seminar to discuss current and developing trends in unemployment with industry thought leaders. During the event, Solovic spoke on a TPA processes panel about the important role companies like Experian play in helping employers defend and improve the integrity of the unemployment system. Solovic, was joined by Michael Orton, Director at Experian Employer Services, who spoke about common tax challenges employers face and strategies to overcome them.
