Rajeev brings more than 24 years of global leadership across SaaS, PaaS, AI, and enterprise platforms — with a proven record of scaling technology organizations, driving innovation and building large-scale, resilient systems. At Freshworks, Rajeev led the evolution of the Neo and Data Platforms that powered scalability and AI-driven insights across its global suite. Earlier, at athenahealth, he modernized core RCM systems and launched AI-led platforms that transformed efficiency and business outcomes.

Rajeev's appointment marks a pivotal step in advancing QAD’s vision to take manufacturing from Systems of Record to Systems of Action — where every frontline worker, every machine, and every decision drives outcome.

“Rajeev’s deep experience in platform engineering and AI innovation perfectly aligns with where we’re taking QAD,” said Sanjay Brahmawar, CEO at QAD | Redzone. “Our mission is to redefine what ERP means for manufacturers — to move from recording the past to shaping the present in real time. Rajeev’s leadership will help us deliver on that mission faster, smarter, and at scale.”

In his dual role, Rajeev will oversee QAD’s operations in India and lead global engineering for ERP and Supply Chain. Based in Pune, he will focus on strengthening QAD India as a center of excellence for innovation and delivery, while advancing the company’s engineering roadmap across all regions.

“I’m thrilled to join QAD | Redzone at such an exciting inflection point,” said Rajeev Purohit, newly appointed GM India and Head of Engineering. “Manufacturing is entering its defining decade — one where AI, data, and platform engineering will separate those who react from those who act. QAD’s Manufacturing Platform is uniquely built for that future — combining Redzone to empower the frontline, Adaptive Applications as the intelligent backbone, and Champion AI to amplify human potential through Agentic AI. Together, these pillars enable manufacturers to move with Champion Pace — achieving transformation and measurable results in 90 days.”

Sanjay added, “Rajeev will play a key role in accelerating how we bring these capabilities to life. His global experience and passion for scalable innovation will help ensure that our platform continues to deliver value at every level — from the shop floor to the boardroom.”

With Rajeev’s appointment, QAD continues to strengthen its global leadership team as it executes on its bold strategy to make manufacturing more intelligent, adaptive, and human-centered — transforming the industry one factory, one decision, and one outcome at a time.
