The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Insurance Agency Marketing Services, Inc. with respect to their recent data breach. Between March 1 and May 3, 2024, a third party accessed IAMS computer systems remotely and obtained files containing personal information. Upon discovering the incident, IAMS engaged external experts to remediate, investigate, and determine the scope of the breach. The investigation determined that the following information was accessed: individuals name, Social Security number, Passport number, driver’s license number, account number, date of birth, EIN’s, certain financial information, business email credentials, and certain medical information.
