Certification Demonstrates Amprius’ Commitment to a Consistently High Standard of Quality Across its Battery Portfolio

Amprius Technologies, Inc. (“Amprius” or the “Company”) (NYSE: AMPX), a leader in next-generation lithium-ion batteries with its Silicon Anode Platform, today announced it has received the prestigious AS9100:2016 certification for its Fremont, CA production facility. This certification, received from Smithers Quality Assessments, Inc., establishes a framework for continual improvement as Amprius continues to supply batteries to the burgeoning electric aviation industry, helping to advance technologies like eVTOLs, high-altitude pseudo satellites (HAPS), and drones.

AS9100:2016, an international standard specific to the aerospace sector, enhances ISO 9001:2015 requirements to ensure that products align with stringent customer and regulatory requirements. To earn this certification, Amprius’ recently expanded Fremont facility underwent a rigorous evaluation process and audit. As a part of the evaluation process, Amprius has also successfully renewed its ISO9001:2015 certification, a globally recognized standard for quality management systems (QMS).

Amprius collaborated with Smithers Quality Assessments, an accredited quality and environmental registration agency, to achieve these certifications. Each certification is valid for three years.
