- Corporate Citizenship Program Facilitates Charitable Giving and Volunteerism -

As part of its ongoing commitment to effective environmental, social and governance ("ESG") practices, Getty Realty Corp. (NYSE: GTY) today announced the results of its 2023 Getty Gives campaign.

Getty Gives provides our team with a formal program to support causes that are meaningful to us and the communities in which we live and work. Getty Gives includes corporate donations to charitable organizations selected by our employees, company matching for employee charitable donations, and additional paid time off for employee volunteer opportunities.

In 2023, our team participated in our first annual company-wide event with Rethink Food where we worked alongside the Rethink Food team to transform surplus food into meals for distribution to underserved communities. Rethink Food is a local New York nonprofit organization that works to bridge the gap between excess food and food-insecure communities by partnering with local restaurants to deliver more than 50,000 nutritious, culturally celebrated meals per week across New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, Nashville, Washington D.C. and Miami at no cost to communities.

• Remember Me Rescue NY. Remember Me Rescue NY is a foster based animal rescue on Long Island, NY that finds homes for dogs that are in desperate need and have nowhere to go. Often, they rescue dogs from high kill shelters where the animals are in a state of neglect and require medical care, surgeries and other procedures to get them ready for their new, love-filled life in a “furever” home. Remember Me Rescue NY provides housing, medical care, spay & neuter, boarding, and transportation as needed.
