ANIMACCORD DTC Announces CEO Hire

Former WildWorks Co-Founder Will Lead Interactive Experiences for Hit Animation Property Masha and the Bear.

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES / ACCESSWIRE / July 26, 2024 / Animaccord DTC, a partnership formed earlier this year by the creators of the global hit family animation "Masha and the Bear" and a coalition of entertainment and technology investors, announced the hiring of Clark Stacey to lead the venture as its CEO.

Stacey, who led Animal Jam and Tag With Ryan developer WildWorks prior to its acquisition by Nazara Technologies in 2022, brings over 25 years of experience in game development, publishing, and studio operations to the new role. In addition to managing an existing catalog of over 40 games across multiple platforms, Stacey will be responsible for the development of Animaccord DTC's ambitious MASHAVERSE project.

According to Parrot Analytics, Masha and the Bear was the #1 in-demand show globally for children and preschoolers in 2023, with an audience that spans broadcast television, streaming services, and 247 million subscribers to its 41 localized YouTube channels. The MASHAVERSE will unite and expand this audience in a revolutionary digital hub world that combines education, entertainment, and immersive storytelling.
