CarChargingBot Develops World’s First Wireless Artificial Intelligence Technology for Charging Electric Vehicles, Eliminates the Need for Dedicated Charging Stations

With CarChargingBot’s autonomous ChargeBots, electric cars and trucks can be charged from multiple angles with minimal human intervention

The global demand for electric vehicles (EVs) is skyrocketing. In 2012, only 120,000 EVs were sold around the world; however, that number increased exponentially in 2021 when approximately 6.6 million units were purchased by consumers. According to the IEA, electric cars made up 10% of global car sales in 2021 which was four times the market share in 2019. The total number of electric vehicles on the road in 2019 was 16.5 million, triple the number from 2018. Sales of EVs have risen exponentially with two million sold in the first quarter of the year, which is 75% more than the same period last year.

As the number of electric vehicles on roads around the world expands, there is an increasing demand for charging stations and infrastructure. Electric vehicles are a promising technology, but without charging stations they will never truly become mainstream. Today, CarChargingBot is pleased to announce the launch of its wireless technology which uses autonomous, fully functional robotic chargers to charge electric vehicles. These ChargeBots are equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) that allows them to find vehicles and plug into them to recharge their batteries.

Speaking about the technology, HossDesignUSA’s CEO, Hoss Alavi had this to say, “The current state of EV charging infrastructure is unacceptable and our EV wireless charging technology will provide a much-needed solution for electric vehicles. We are confident that our technology will provide a convenient and reliable way to charge electric vehicles.”

The CarChargingBot technology will use magnetic coupling integrated into a vehicle’s bumper to charge it. When the two are close enough, the charging technology will transfer energy to the electric vehicle and get it charged. CarChargingBot’s EV wireless chargers will eliminate the need for dedicated electric vehicle charging stations. The robots can travel up to half a mile within their stations and charge up to three vehicles before needing to be recharged themselves.

“Users will only have to install a compatible charging coil in the bumper, door panels, inside the fender, or another strategic location on the vehicle,” explained Hoss. “Using a mobile app, the driver will see where the nearest robot is and schedule a charging session.”

CarChargingBot is seeking to raise capital to fund its automated EV-charging technology. The company is calling on well-meaning individuals, companies, and organizations both in the auto industry and others to support its vision of providing charging robots for electric vehicles, eliminating the need for dedicated EV charging stations.
