On April 25, 2007, upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors, the shareholders of Synovus Financial Corp. (“Synovus”) adopted the Synovus Financial Corp. 2007 Omnibus Plan (the “Plan”). A copy of the Plan is attached as Exhibit 10.1 to Synovus' Current Report on Form 8-K dated April 25, 2007. A copy of the form of Retention Stock Option Agreement and the form of Revised Stock Option Agreement to be used to evidence awards under the Plan are attached hereto as Exhibits 10.1 and 10.2, respectively, and incorporated herein by reference. | |
