Item 5.02Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

On June 30, 2017, Mr. Brian Balius, Vice President Transportation and Engineering, informed Saia, Inc. of his plans to retire effective July 31, 2017 after 28 years of service with Saia, Inc.  The company is evaluating internal and external candidates and plans to reorganize some functions to provide continued strategic operations leadership going forward.
