Preferred Apartment Communities, Inc. is filing this Amendment on Form 8-K/A to its amended Current Report on Form 8-K/A filed on January 24, 2017 solely to include a portion of the Independent Auditor's Consent which was inadvertently omitted in the Form 8-K/A filed on January 24, 2017. The information previously reported in the Form 8-K/A is hereby incorporated by reference into this Amendment. Except for the inclusion of the corrected Independent Auditor's Consent, all other information included in the original filing is unchanged.
