AND INCREASES EFFICIENCY


Brasília, February 03, 2006 - Brasil Telecom continues to implement measures to increase its efficiency, as disclosed to the market on December 19, 2005. One of them is a 12% reduction of its work force, which included the merger of the marketing and the sales force of the fixed-line, mobile and broadband departments. Such reorganization eliminates overlapping activities and processes in the Company.
