Acorn International Announces Resignation of A Director
SHANGHAI, China, June 3, 2014 – Acorn International, Inc. (NYSE: ATV) (“Acorn” or the “Company”), a media and branding company in China engaged in developing, promoting and selling products through extensive direct and distribution networks, today announced that Mr. Eric Zhenyu He has resigned from the Company’s board of directors due to personal reasons, effective May 31, 2014. Mr. He confirmed that there is no disagreement between him and the Company. Mr. He also served on the audit committee of the Company as the committee chair with financial management expertise. The Company is in the process of identifying qualified candidate and will appoint a candidate with similar expertise and experience to fill in the vacancy in due course.
