On January 25, 2007, Fastenal Company issued a press release announcing its board of directors had nominated Mr. Hugh Miller to fill the director vacancy which will be created on April 17, 2007 when Mr. John Remick retires from the board of directors. This information is disclosed pursuant to Regulation FD.
