In accordance with our Corporate Governance Guidelines, Douglas A. Newsom retired from our Board of Directors on January 16, 2007 upon attaining the age of 73. Dr. Newsom served on our Board of Directors for over 25 years and was a member of both our Audit Committee and Executive Compensation Committee at the time of her retirement. |
