On October 22, 2008, Antigenics Inc. announced the submission of a Marketing Authorization Application (MAA) to the European Medicines Agency (EMEA) requesting approval for Oncophage^® in earlier-stage, localized renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer) under the conditional authorization provision.
