Item 8.01. Other Events.
On March 9, 2005, AmeriVest Properties Inc. (“AmeriVest”) announced the suspension of the payment of its first quarter dividend at this time. The Board of Directors intends to review and consider the resumption of a dividend on AmeriVest’s common shares for the second quarter of 2005 or thereafter.
