ITEM 7.01          Regulation FD Disclosure

On January 9, 2008, Home Federal Bancorp, Inc. of Louisiana (the "Company") issued a press release announcing the declaration of a quarterly cash dividend.  The dividend is payable on February 8, 2008 to shareholders of record as of January 23, 2008.
