Jeff Gross Launches A Podcast, Starts a Family and Proves that Life can be Multifaceted

We’ve all heard it before. “Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket”. In fact, it is even arguably one of the very first rules that we all learn when trying to discover our own financial avenues. Such an immemorial concept is proven time and time again when we see thousands of entrepreneurs a year fall out of their industries by placing all their bets on a single market and being just unlucky enough to lose their entire pot making it so much more apparent that some diversification when it comes to business is infinitely more important than being good at just one thing and master poker player Jeff Gross projects this idea perfectly.

Even before poker magnate, Jeff Gross began his career by betting just 50-dollar deposits in poker, he was a longtime soccer player, going as far as to play at the D1 level for the University of South Carolina, all while participating in academics that would in itself classify any young adult as an expert multitasker. Jeff then went on to add traveling, learning, and performing very well at poker events to that list all running concurrently.

Then, once Jeff earned millions of dollars from his poker and established himself as a serious top player, now juggling a wife and a young son, he decided to add even more cards to his hand in the form of various social media platforms such as podcasts, a YouTube channel and has even been an innovator in the poker playing side of Twitch streaming.

Jeff believes this impressive level of diversification gives a sense of freedom, “the ability to have passive income and multiple revenue streams. Nothing is forever. Things change and pass, so having options and doors open is super important.”

To Jeff, being a jack of all trades is a virtue in finding and maintaining a consistent and growing level of success in any field of business. Being multiskilled can open up countless doors for anyone’s future and is the most substantiate method for avoiding professional or financial ruin giving entrepreneurs a ceiling to progress though without fear of losing everything. What can be learned from people like Jeff is, much like in poker, you can avoid a bust, by introducing just a little variance.
