King County says Covid response faces “fiscal cliff” without federal stimulus

The county’s federal funding extends through the end of December. Staff are being reassigned within the department to continue operations, but cutbacks are “a real possibility” if more money doesn't arrive, says health officer Dr. Jeffrey Duchin.
