Life Transformation Recovery believes in complete recovery from addiction. However, finding the funds to obtain treatment and remain in the program tends to be challenging for many individuals. When people struggling with addiction come to Life Transformation Recovery for help, however, the program will let them stay as long as necessary, even if they are unable to pay for the whole program. David Sanchez, the Executive Director of the non-profit rehab center, recently announced he is donating his salary back to the program to help ensure this is the case.

"The first non-profit Christian addiction treatment center in Northern Arizona, Life Transformation Recovery believes addiction can end. The team combines the best medical staff with genuine compassion and a desire to help others, and all are willing to go above and beyond to help people thrive in their new life after recovery," Brian De Blois, spokesperson for the center, explains.

Opioid addiction remains common in Arizona and other parts of the country. In fact, while America makes up a mere five percent of the world's population, it accounts for approximately 80 percent of all opioid use. For those who are provided with opioid medications in a medical setting, an estimated 25 percent will become addicted and find they are unable to quit using the drug.

"All drug and alcohol rehab centers need to be aware of statistics such as these and find ways to help individuals who struggle with an addiction. Sadly, addicts often lose everything in an effort to obtain their drug of choice. As a result, finding the funds needs to seek treatment and remain with a program until they recover tends to be difficult. Life Transformation Recovery recognizes this and ensures a patient who enters the program may stay as long as needed, regardless of their ability to pay for the entire treatment plan," De Blois continues.

Furthermore, nonprofit rehab centers need to recognize anyone may become addicted to drugs or alcohol, regardless of age. Roughly five percent of high school students in 2013 reported active heroin use, which needs to be concerning to all. Parents may struggle to obtain treatment for the child suffering from addiction as they have other children at home who also have needs. The teen challenge program can be of help with this.

"Any person can overcome an addiction and lead a happy, healthy, productive life. As a nonprofit treatment center, we are able to help more people. Furthermore, we treat the entire person, as we understand addiction is more than a chemical problem. Medical care and detox medications are used when necessary, and we also address the spiritual needs of our patients. With our help, individuals find they can bring healing to the heart and change their addictive behavior patterns," De Blois states.
