Corporate Lawyer Benjamin C. Burkhart Deepens M&A and Tech Sector Bench at Lowenstein Sandler

Lowenstein Sandler LLP announced today that Benjamin C. Burkhart has joined the Firm as a partner in New York City. Mr. Burkhart brings to Lowenstein his extensive experience focusing on strategic M&A and investment transactions, particularly for technology companies and investment funds. Mr. Burkhart will practice with the firm’s Transactions and Advisory Group and Tech Group. He was previously a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in New York.

Mr. Burkhart further enhances Lowenstein’s 200-lawyer Corporate Department with his focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, capital markets, and investment transactions. In particular, Ben’s experience includes investments in and acquisitions of emerging growth companies, and includes companies involved in fiber infrastructure and wireless technologies, micro-LED development, software animation, application indexing, and systems and applications essential to the “Internet of Things.”

Mr. Burkhart represents some of the largest strategic acquirors in the technology space today. His transactional work includes representation of lead investors in four of Fortune’s top twenty technology startups on The Unicorn List for 2016, including Uber Technologies, Inc., Airbnb, Inc., Snap Inc. (f/k/a “Snapchat”) and WeWork Companies.
