OptiTech Solutions Offers Help for Businesses Still Reliant on Outdated Landlines

OptiTech Solutions is looking to help businesses still reliant on copper wire landlines transfer over to VoIP (cloud) systems prior to the government mandated shutoff on January 1st, 2025.

OptiTech Solutions, a new telecom solutions business based out of Rancho Cucamonga, California, is offering help to businesses that are still reliant on copper wire landlines with switching to cloud based phone systems. With the FCC decommissioning the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) on January 1st, 2025, any businesses currently using copper wire based landlines for phone services, will be left to dry if they don’t switch to cloud based services.

OptiTech is looking to get businesses switched over ahead of the cutoff date by offering free installation and a three month subscription for free, as well as free phones or equipment, for qualifying businesses. Upon signing up for their services, an evaluation of your current bill will be provided, with OptiTech then aiming to beat a businesses current bill by roughly 20%, which will go into effect once your free three month subscription has expired. Eddie Garcia, owner and operator of OptiTech, cannot stress to businesses enough how important it is to get this taken care of before it’s too late; thus ensuring that valuable business is not lost by not having access to phone services.

“Currently a lot of businesses aren’t aware that they’re going to lose their phone services within the next couple of months, so we’re just trying to help in any way we can and hopefully create some loyal customers as a result.” Says Eddie Garcia, Owner and Operator of OptiTech Solutions.

Using new VoIP systems will require an internet connection however, which Eddie acknowledges can be frustrating for certain customers; but OptiTech is promising to help walk customers through the setup process so that they can be excited about everything their new phone and internet system has to offer, rather than worry about the headache that often comes along with setting up new technological devices.

The PSTN is being decommissioned at the end of the year in favor of more technologically advanced VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) systems as it is an aging technology that is costly to maintain. Many businesses and households are already using VoIP systems, so current demand for landlines is low. Additionally, the PSTN has limited bandwidth for high speed internet and transmission of data, which does not leave much desire for large telecom companies to continue supporting.

“We understand how daunting setup of new systems can be for those who are not technology adept and we want to make sure those customers know they’ll be taken care of.” – Eddie Garcia, Owner and Operator of OptiTech Solutions

Currently OptiTech is based in Southern California but can service businesses across the entire U.S. and North America. They are currently offering free tech assessments for all businesses to understand their needs, costs, budget etc. Additionally, they are looking to target new businesses such as schools, hospitals, libraries, office buildings and more that are looking for telecom services.
