Appealing to fans of Adele, Florence Welch and Kelly Clarkson, French will showcase her powerful vocals on material from 'The Ripple Effect' ("Ties of Blood," "Carry Me," "The Hunter") which recently saw a Deluxe Edition hit the marketplace in time for Grammy consideration. The expanded 6-song collection (released August 28) includes a spirited, soaring rendition of Stevie Nicks' "Edge of Seventeen" and a vibrant new original ("Just Like This") that she wrote for the upcoming feature film, 'I Want to Feel Fun,' a rom-com directed by Academy Award-nominee Jessica Sanders, that stars Vivian Bang, Soomin Chun, Kiran Deol and Avi Rothman.
