Makai Dorfman is currently working towards a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Wisconsin-Stout and expects to graduate in spring 2023. Additionally, he has completed the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program, led by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, through the Sounds True Institute and the Greater Good Science Center at the University of California, Berkeley. Before his counseling career, Dorfman spent over 15 years as an educator, working with children and families in various settings.
