Fighting the Good Fight: Eleazar Kauderer and Greater NY Chamber Drive Support for US Army Reserve and Veterans

NEW YORK, NY - (NewMediaWire) - May 4, 2023 - April 24, 2023, was a landmark date for Eleazar “Ele” Kauderer. That day marked the 15-year anniversary of the establishment of Kauderer’s involvement with the Military & Veterans Affairs Committee for the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce, something he continues to be passionate about today.

Ele Kauderer joined the committee on April 24, 2008, while assisting the Greater New York Chamber's CEO, Mark Jaffe, in Washington DC with Public Relations for a widely attended event celebrating the centennial anniversary of service to the nation through a re-enlistment of 100 Soldiers on the west lawn of the U.S. Capitol.

As a leading professional in the public relations field in New York for decades, Kauderer states that his involvement in helping to drive public appreciation for the US Army Reserve and its Veterans at various Chamber events has been one of his most rewarding projects over the years. He reports that he vividly recalls the wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery and the gala ball that evening, and he was moved to get more involved.

"I am grateful that the Chamber of Commerce gave me the opportunity to help out and in a tremendous cause," Ele Kauderer stated. "The US Army Reserve and its Veterans are heroes who have helped to shape and protect our nation and our democracy for more than a century. This was a decade of my life and something I will never forget."

Reflecting on the event, Retired Col. Randy Pullen wrote in an article on the US Army’s website that Army Reserve Soldiers have served wherever America sent its Army since April 23, 1908. “It was on that date 100 years ago that Congress passed legislation that created the Medical Reserve Corps, the Army's first federal reserve force. From this pool of trained medical professionals, the secretary of War was able to order Reserve officers to active duty during time of emergency.”

Addressing the event, U.S. Senator John McCain commented, "Throughout the past century, the citizen soldiers of our Army Reserve have answered their nation's call to service time and time again, from World War I to the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Since 9/11, nearly 193,000 Army Reserve men and women have been mobilized to serve side-by-side with active-duty members around the globe. These Reservists - some of the greatest patriots among us - play a critical role in keeping our nation safe and strong."

Ele Kauderer served on the Military & Veterans Affairs Committee for the Greater NY Chamber of Commerce for many years while continuing to work with the Greater NY Chamber on multiple committees.

His most recent involvement with the Chamber is his work as part of the Economic Development Committee on Sustainability and Plastic Waste Solutions as he manages the day to day as the CEO of Tiger Marketing & Branding Agency https://tigergmp.com in New Jersey.
