-- Marcus Gore, founder of Topular, has launched an AI-powered platform designed to streamline off-market real estate transactions after pivoting from an earlier failed eCommerce venture.
Originally launched in 2020 as an Amazon FBA brand, Topular began with a product that did not succeed. Rather than abandoning the business, Gore used the experience as a foundation to rebuild in a new direction.
“I learned quickly that building a product isn’t enough—you need a system that actually works,” said Gore.
After transitioning into real estate, Gore began working on off-market deals and quickly identified inefficiencies in the traditional process. Each transaction required rebuilding analysis, managing fragmented communication, and navigating inconsistent deal structures.
A pivotal moment came early in his career when a fraudulent property listing exposed deeper risks within off-market real estate transactions.
“That experience showed me how unstructured and risky the process can be,” Gore explained. “It pushed me to think beyond deals and focus on building systems.”
In 2024, Gore launched Topular Home Solutions, focusing on sourcing and closing off-market opportunities across multiple markets, including Georgia and Northern California.
Building on this experience, Gore introduced Topular as a platform in 2026, alongside Topular AI—an AI-powered tool designed to analyze properties, structure deals, and bring consistency to off-market transactions.
Unlike traditional home value tools, Topular AI focuses on real-world investor logic, offering insights into deal structure, potential exit strategies, and market positioning.
