Infrrd Launches IDPForge, a Self-Serve Document Automation API for Developers

Infrrd, an AI-powered Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) company serving the mortgage, financial services, insurance, and logistics industries, today announced the general availability of IDPForge, a self-serve document automation API built for developers.

For a decade, Infrrd has delivered tailored document AI solutions to enterprise customers, working one customer at a time to solve complex extraction and processing challenges across regulated, high-volume industries. With IDPForge, the company is opening that same technology directly to developers, removing the sales cycle and letting teams build, test, and scale document automation on their own terms.

Infrrd is explicit that IDPForge is not built for the broadest possible market. Fine-tuning a single model to get basic extraction is easy, and plenty of platforms are built to offer just that, with 60 percent accuracy passed off as "good enough" once a developer patches the gaps on a separate correction desk. Infrrd built IDPForge for developers who won't settle for that trade-off, who want efficiency and accuracy together rather than a workflow held together with manual fixes.

“For a decade, we've proven that document automation can be fast and accurate at the same time, for the industries that can least afford to get it wrong. IDPForge takes that same engine and hands it to developers directly, no sales cycle, no black box, and no 60 percent accuracy dressed up as 'good enough.' This is what happens when a company that's only ever built for enterprises decides to build for everyone,” says Amit Jnagal, CEO, Infrrd Inc.

Core capabilities include:

Per-stage multi-LLM-model routing. Every stage of a document pipeline, including layout detection, OCR review, table extraction, schema extraction, and agentic review, can be routed to the model best suited for that specific task, rather than forcing an entire workflow through a single underlying model.

Bring-your-own-key (BYOK) support. Developers can connect their own API keys for supported model providers on a per-call basis, avoiding surcharges on calls routed through their own credentials, while unconfigured providers fall back to platform-managed inference.

Embeddable correction user interface. Corrections happen directly on the platform, and IDPForge captures and accommodates them within the system itself, so developers do not need to build a separate correction desk after extraction. Corrected data flows straight into downstream systems, keeping the process automated end to end.

Continuous learning loop. IDPForge's platform improves from the corrections made directly within the system. Accuracy compounds over time as more corrections are applied, and this learning is scoped entirely to each customer's own dataset, with no cross-pollination between accounts.

Infrrd positions IDPForge as an alternative to point-solution extraction tools that require developers to stitch together separate services for parsing, classification, extraction, and validation. IDPForge offers an end-to-end, configurable pipeline that developers can adapt without being locked into a single vendor's model choices. With IDPForge, Infrrd plans to extend on-demand human-in-the-loop review, automatic accuracy tuning, and master data validation via API to confirm accuracy against known records.
