According to USA TODAY’s bestseller list published late last month, Volume 3 of the Under the Oak Tree webcomic print edition debuted at No. 30 in the U.S. Volume 3 of the Under the Oak Tree novel print edition previously reached No. 31 on the list, with both print editions now having earned spots on the USA TODAY bestseller list.

Backed by a global fandom, Under the Oak Tree has expanded beyond its origins as a webnovel and webcomic into print publishing, underscoring the title’s strength and reach as a global IP.

Volume 3 follows the heroine as she conceals her origins, confronts a series of challenges, and sets out to prove herself on her own terms. The volume collects Episodes 46 through 64 of the webcomic. Based on the hit webnovel of the same name by Suji Kim, the Under the Oak Tree webcomic has surpassed 100 million cumulative views on Manta and remains one of the platform’s most popular titles.

Under the Oak Tree has achieved milestones across major North American bookselling platforms and industry awards. Volume 1 of the English-language webnovel print edition became the first Korean webnovel on The New York Times Hardcover Fiction Best Sellers list, debuting at No. 7. Meanwhile, the webcomic print edition reached No. 1 on Amazon’s Romance Graphic Novels chart. The series was also nominated for Best Webcomic at the Ringo Awards, one of the major comics awards in the U.S., earning recognition from both readers and the comics industry.

“It’s meaningful to see Under the Oak Tree continue to resonate with readers through its third volume while reaching a broader global audience,” said a Manta spokesperson. “We’ll continue to expand compelling IP into a variety of formats, giving fans more ways to experience and engage with the stories they love.”

The Under the Oak Tree webcomic and webnovel are available on Manta’s website and mobile app.
