Effective July 15, 2026, the company promoted Ryan Shields to Senior Vice President, Finance & Corporate Development, and Teresa Bradford to Senior Vice President & Controller – Avangrid. The changes return to Avangrid's previous organizational model, with both leaders reporting to the CEO and joining Avangrid’s Management Committee.

Shields, who currently serves as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, will assume responsibility for Finance & Corporate Development. In his new role, he will oversee treasury, corporate development, sustainability, financial strategy, capital allocation, and long-term growth initiatives. Since joining Avangrid in 2019, Shields has held several leadership positions within Corporate Development and has led numerous strategic transactions and enterprise initiatives.

Bradford, who currently serves as Vice President, Strategic Initiatives Controller, brings extensive experience across accounting, financial reporting, business development, and operational finance. During her long tenure with the company and its predecessor organizations, she has held a series of leadership roles spanning both finance and strategic growth functions.

“Ryan and Teresa are highly respected leaders whose experience, expertise, and deep understanding of our business have helped shape many of Avangrid’s most important initiatives,” said Avangrid CEO Jose Antonio Miranda. “Ryan brings a unique combination of financial expertise, strategic vision, and a strong track record of creating long-term value for our stakeholders, while Teresa’s broad experience across our organization, commitment to excellence, collaborative leadership style, and focus on financial discipline make her exceptionally well-suited for this role. Their involvement in key strategic projects and transactions over many years will ensure a seamless transition as they take on these expanded leadership responsibilities. Please join us in thanking Justin and congratulating Ryan and Teresa on their new roles.”

The appointments underscore Avangrid’s commitment to leadership development, succession planning, and building a strong financial organization to support the company’s continued growth and investment in energy infrastructure.
