The move positions the company at the center of the world's largest aerospace and defense market while supporting future U.S. manufacturing expansion

Zenno Astronautics, a New Zealand-founded space company pioneering superconducting technologies for space, today announced its intent to redomicile to the United States. While maintaining its presence in New Zealand, the company is establishing its headquarters in Los Angeles as part of its long-term strategy to expand its presence in the world's largest aerospace and defense market and evaluate future investments in manufacturing, testing and operational infrastructure.

As the global leader in aerospace innovation, the U.S. brings together government, industry, investment and engineering talent to advance next-generation technologies. As demand grows for resilient space infrastructure and advanced defense capabilities, Zenno believes superconducting technologies will play a foundational role in enabling the next era of space infrastructure and operations.

"Moving our headquarters in Los Angeles is a strategic step that positions Zenno where the world's aerospace and defense industry is advancing most rapidly," said Max Arshavsky, CEO and co-founder of Zenno Astronautics. "The United States offers unparalleled access to customers, partners, talent and government programs, and Los Angeles sits at the center of that ecosystem. As we scale our superconducting technologies for space, this move strengthens our ability to collaborate, innovate and support the next generation of commercial and national security missions."

Zenno is bringing its world-leading expertise in superconducting systems and cryogenic cooling for space applications to the United States. While Los Angeles will become Zenno's global headquarters, New Zealand will remain an important part of the company's operations and innovation strategy. The company will continue to build on the engineering expertise and technical foundation established in New Zealand while expanding its commercial and operational footprint in the United States.

Beyond establishing its headquarters, Zenno is committed to becoming an active contributor to Southern California's world-class aerospace community. The company plans to grow its U.S. workforce, collaborate with industry leaders, government agencies and universities, and help strengthen America's leadership in superconducting technologies for space and national security.

The Los Angeles headquarters marks the beginning of Zenno's next chapter. As the company expands across the United States, it remains committed to its long-term vision of converting abundant energy into useful work, building superconducting technologies that enable a more capable, sustainable and industrialized future in space.

About Zenno

Zenno is a space technology company and the global leader in the application of superconducting magnets for space. Founded in late 2017, the company develops advanced superconducting systems that enable propellant-free force generation and spacecraft control, addressing critical challenges facing commercial and government spacecraft operators.

Zenno’s patented technology platform leverages high-temperature superconductors to generate powerful magnetic fields with near-zero energy losses, unlocking new capabilities for satellite mobility, radiation shielding, and future electromagnetic infrastructure systems for space. Its flagship Z01™ Supertorquer is the first superconducting spacecraft actuator successfully operated in orbit, establishing a new category of space mobility technology.
