This year, for the first time ever, the company is inviting fans inside. On Saturday, August 29, 2026, the world's largest online-only costume retailer will host the first-ever HalloweenCostumes.com HQ Experience, officially kicking off the 2026 Halloween season.
The HQ Experience gives Halloween fans a behind-the-scenes look at where the magic happens. Visitors will explore HalloweenCostumes.com's 200,000-square-foot headquarters, tour the warehouse, experience immersive displays, meet the newest animatronics, and connect with the designers and artists who create them.

10:00 AM - Public Experience. Tours, demos, meet-and-greets, shopping, and Halloween fun.
2:00 PM - Family & Friends. HQ opens for the people who make it all possible.
7:00 PM - Kickoff Party. Costume contests, entertainment, prizes, and a few surprises.

Why It Matters
HalloweenCostumes.com is a Minnesota family business. The Fallenstein sisters started renting and sewing costumes in Mankato in 1992; their brother Tom built the company's first website in 2001 with $5,000 borrowed from their parents. Two decades later the company designs and manufactures thousands of its own exclusive costumes and animatronics and ships them worldwide - still from the same corner of southern Minnesota.
The HQ Experience is the first time that operation has been open to the people who buy from it.
