Nine-act lineup spans two nights at Detroit's historic Roostertail venue July 17-18 - General Admission and VIP tickets available at yachtrockdetroit.com

DETROIT, MI / ACCESS Newswire / February 21, 2026 / Yacht Rock Detroit, the annual two-day waterfront yacht rock festival on the Detroit River, has announced its complete nine-act lineup for 2026. The two-night outdoor live music concert takes place Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18, 2026 at The Roostertail, 100 Marquette Drive, Detroit, MI 48214.

Yacht Rock Detroit is a two-day summer music festival held annually at The Roostertail in Detroit, Michigan, celebrating the smooth sounds of the 1970s and '80s soft rock era with original heritage artists and acclaimed tribute acts performing on the waterfront of the Detroit River.

"We built this festival to bring the feeling of a summer night on the water to life - cold drinks, classic songs, and the river right there behind the stage," said Teddy Schoenith, event lead at The Roostertail. "This is the lineup we've been waiting for. Nine acts that people will be singing along to from the first note."

Full 2026 Lineup - Nine Acts Over Two Nights

This year's bill brings together some of the most iconic voices of the 1970s and '80s soft rock era - original artists performing the songs that defined a generation - across two nights at the biggest yacht rock festival in Detroit.

Friday, July 17, 2026

7 Wonders - A nationally touring Fleetwood Mac tribute act featuring seven world-class musicians who authentically recreate the iconic catalog of one of the best-selling bands in history, from "Go Your Own Way" and "Dreams" to "Rhiannon" and "Landslide."

Pablo Cruise - The San Francisco-born band behind two platinum albums and a string of breezy, sun-drenched hits that helped define the California sound of the late 1970s. Founding members David Jenkins (guitar/vocals) and Cory Lerios (keyboards/vocals) lead the band, performing classics like "Love Will Find a Way" (No. 6, Billboard Hot 100) and "Whatcha Gonna Do?" (No. 6, Billboard Hot 100).

Yacht Rock Revue - The nationally touring seven-piece powerhouse out of Atlanta that holds the official U.S. trademark on the term "yacht rock." What started as a one-night cover gig in 2007 has grown into a coast-to-coast phenomenon - they've toured with Kenny Loggins and Train, sell out theaters from Los Angeles to Boston, and have been featured in the New York Times, Billboard, and Pitchfork.

Saturday, July 18, 2026

Ambrosia & Friends - Five-time Grammy-nominated Los Angeles rock band whose blend of art rock and pop produced enduring classics. Featuring three original members - Joe Puerta (bass/vocals), Burleigh Drummond (drums), and Christopher North (keyboards) - performing "Biggest Part of Me" (No. 3, Billboard Hot 100), "How Much I Feel" (No. 3), and "You're the Only Woman." Quincy Jones once declared "Biggest Part of Me" one of his all-time favorite songs.

Three Dog Night - One of the most successful American bands of the late 1960s and early '70s, Three Dog Night charted 21 consecutive Top 40 hits and sold millions of records worldwide. Led by founding vocalist Danny Hutton and original guitarist Michael Allsup, the band is responsible for three No. 1 singles including "Joy to the World," "Mama Told Me (Not to Come)," and "Black and White," along with era-defining hits like "One," "Shambala," and "An Old Fashioned Love Song."

Elliot Lurie of Looking Glass - The songwriter, lead guitarist, and voice behind Looking Glass's 1972 No. 1 smash "Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)," an RIAA Gold-certified million-seller that spent 16 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and experienced a massive cultural resurgence after being featured in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Lurie wrote the song as a student at Rutgers University and went on to build a distinguished career as a music supervisor at Twentieth Century Fox.

Peter Beckett of Player - The Liverpool-born lead vocalist and co-founder of Player, whose debut single "Baby Come Back" reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in January 1978 - knocking The Bee Gees off the top spot. Billboard named Player its Best New Singles Artist of 1978. Beckett later co-wrote "Twist of Fate" for Olivia Newton-John and penned songs for Janet Jackson, The Temptations, and Kenny Rogers.

Walter Egan - The singer-songwriter behind the RIAA Gold-certified "Magnet and Steel," a Top 10 hit in 1978 that featured Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac on backing vocals, with Mick Fleetwood on drums. The track was produced by Buckingham and Richard Dashut - the same team behind Fleetwood Mac's Rumours.

John Ford Coley - One half of the legendary soft rock duo England Dan & John Ford Coley, whose 1976 Grammy-nominated hit "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight" peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, topped the Adult Contemporary chart, and became an RIAA-certified hit. The duo charted six Top 40 hits between 1976 and 1980, including "Nights Are Forever Without You" (No. 10) and "We'll Never Have to Say Goodbye Again" (No. 9). Coley's duo partner, Dan Seals - younger brother of Jim Seals of Seals & Crofts - later became a country music star with 11 No. 1 hits.

Three Dog Night, Ambrosia & Friends, and John Ford Coley - who have been touring together this winter - reunite on the same stage at Yacht Rock Detroit for what promises to be one of the top Detroit summer events of 2026.
