LOS ANGELES, CA - July 17, 2026 - C&I Studios is now offering its 30,000-square-foot Downtown Los Angeles production facility for independent film and television productions. The studio is open to both union and non-union companies and is built to support the full range of indie production needs - from short films and feature films to series work. The facility features 25-foot ceilings, a 40x40-foot floor-to-ceiling cycloramic wall, two massive loading doors (25'W x 20'H front, 20'W x 20'H rear), drive-in vehicle access, 500-amp power, and a gated backlot with secure parking. "There's a real lack of stages in LA that are dedicated to independent film," said Joshua Miller, CEO of C&I Studios. "Try finding a 30,000-square-foot sound stage that doesn't destroy your entire budget. It barely exists. We built this facility so independent filmmakers can access the same infrastructure as a studio production - without losing half their budget to the stage."
SIX DISTINCT PRODUCTION SPACES UNDER ONE ROOF
Production Sound Stage - Full 30,000 sq ft open floor plan, 25-foot ceilings, 500-amp power. Accommodates feature films, short films, indie films, series productions, and music videos. Supports full set builds, large lighting rigs, and multiple vehicles. Handles everything from a low-budget indie to a network television production.
White Cyc Wall - 1,000 sq ft seamless white cyclorama with curved floor-to-wall transitions. Supports colored gels and projection. Can be repainted green, blue, black, or custom colors.
Green Screen Studio - Dedicated 40x40-foot floor-to-ceiling chroma key stage. Seamless curved surfaces, overhead rigging grid, evenly painted for clean keying on wide angles and full-body shots.
Podcast Studio - Soundproofed, multi-camera-ready. Broadcast-quality mics, professional mixing board, studio-grade headphones, audio interfaces for remote guests.
Recording Booth - Fully isolated vocal booth with industry-standard mics, Avalon preamps, complete acoustic treatment. Built for VO, ADR, vocal tracking.
Editing Bay - DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro on high-speed workstations with color-accurate monitors and hard drive docking stations.
