Prior to Likely Dying From Cancer, Sam Immortalized the Gifts he Felt so Grateful to have Gained for the Benefit of His Grandchildren and Others

Friday Harbor, WA - Sam Buck authored the book Some of What I’ve Learned So Far particularly for his grandchildren, hoping to imbue upon them all the wisdom and knowledge he gained over 67 years. This book, available on Amazon, now helps not only Sam’s family but all readers in leading a fulfilling life filled with happiness and success.

This book was inspired by Sam Buck’s urge to leave his next generation with the most valuable inheritance an elder could ever impart to his offspring: true wisdom learned and gained from others. Through this book, Some of What I’ve Learned So Far, the author wishes to inspire all the readers to benefit from the vast, unrecognized gifts available from living with high integrity, the humility to accept and move past lessons learned, and to appreciate that all life is happening for you, not to you.

Each chapter in this book is dedicated to the vital lessons Sam learned at some point in life. This book will likely affirm or remind one of what they know. It may also serve as an aid towards helping younger loved ones gain life altering insights for a successful purposeful life.

Since it was becoming more likely that Sam Buck was going to die from throat cancer, he felt compelled to pen this book. Cancer and other discomforts are truly precious gifts to help us towards understanding our true reality. He was raised on San Juan where his father was born and went on to become a loving and caring father as well as a grandfather for 5th generation islanders. Sam experiences many aspects of religion and philosophy along his journey stimulated by his curious, yet skeptical nature and is supportive of every path that leads towards a greater understanding of light and love.

One of the most crucial lessons in the book: “Even witnessing a life of failings is a gift in the form of an example and encouragement to make better decisions. An old pile of manure used the right way can stimulate productive growth.”

Some of What I’ve Learned So Far is available on Amazon now in eBook and print formats.
