Consulting Arrangement with Randy Darcy
On April 2, 2008, General Mills reported that Randy G. Darcy, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Operations and Technology, had announced his plans to retire effective August 1, 2008.
On May 5, 2008, our Compensation Committee approved an arrangement for Mr. Darcy to provide transitional consulting support to General Mills for a one year period following his retirement. He will be paid $400,000 in consideration for his services, with half of the amount to be paid at the start of his service and the remaining balance to be paid at the conclusion.
